# How to Connect a TradeLocker Account

Connect your TradeLocker account to Traders Connect so that it can be added as a Slave in the Copier Engine.

**Important: TradeLocker availability**
> **Using TradeLocker as a Master Copier**
>
> TradeLocker accounts can be used as Slave accounts by default. 
>
> To use a TradeLocker account as a Master Copier, first enable **BETA mode** in **Settings > General Settings**. Then, in **Account Configuration**, ensure the **BETA** toggle next to the TradeLocker account you want to use as a Master Copier, is turned on.
>
> Once both beta settings are enabled, the TradeLocker account can be selected as a Master Copier in the Copier Engine.

### Steps

1. Go to **Account Configuration**.
2. Select **Add Account**.
3. Choose **TradeLocker** as the platform.
4. Enter the required account details:
    * **Nickname** — a name to help you identify the account in Traders Connect.
    * **Broker** — the broker associated with your TradeLocker account.
    * **Server** — the server used for your TradeLocker login.
    * **Email** — the email address associated with your TradeLocker account.
    * **Account Password** — your TradeLocker account password.
5. Select **Confirm**.
6. Once connected successfully, the account will appear in **Account Configuration** and can be added as a Slave in the **Copier Engine**.

#### Conclusion

Your TradeLocker account is now connected to Traders Connect. Because TradeLocker accounts can currently be used only as Slave accounts, you can now add the account to a copier configuration in the **Copier Engine**
