# How to Connect a Tradovate Account

Connect your Tradovate trading account to Traders Connect using the Tradovate authentication process. Once connected, you can use the account in the Copier Engine.

### Adding your account

###### Open Account Configuration


Go to **Account Configuration** in Traders Connect and select **Add Account** to begin connecting a new trading account.

###### Select Tradovate

From the list of available platforms, select **Tradovate**.

###### Authorise Traders Connect

You will be redirected to the Tradovate authentication page. Complete the authorisation process to allow Traders Connect to access your Tradovate account.

###### Name Your Tradovate Login ID

After authorisation, you will return to Traders Connect. Enter a name for your Tradovate login ID so that you can identify it easily, particularly if you connect more than one Tradovate login ID.

###### Select Your Tradovate Account

Select the relevant Tradovate account ID from the dropdown list to complete the connection.

### Connecting accounts from multiple Tradovate IDs

If you use more than one Tradovate login ID, repeat the authentication process through Traders Connect for each login ID you want to connect.

### Conclusion

Your Tradovate account is now connected to Traders Connect and can be used in the Copier Engine. If you have connected more than one Tradovate login ID, use the assigned login ID names to select the correct account when configuring your copier.
