# Trade Copier Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about copying trades between demo and live accounts, Investor Passwords, account currencies, Slave accounts, scalping, and lot sizes.

#### Can I copy trades from a demo account?

Yes. You can copy trades from both demo and live trading accounts.

#### Can I use my Investor Password?

You can use an Investor Password for a Master account only.

An Investor Password is read-only and does not provide permission to execute trades. It therefore cannot be used for a Slave account, as the copier needs permission to place trades on the Slave account.

#### Do account currencies matter?

No. You can copy trades between accounts with different base currencies, such as USD and GBP.

#### Can I copy trades to multiple Slave accounts from one Master account?

Yes. You can add multiple Slave accounts to a single Master account.

#### Can I use Traders Connect for scalping?

Yes. Traders Connect can be used for scalping. For this type of trading, use **instant execution** rather than **limit orders**.

#### Can I open the same lot size on the Slave account as on the Master account?

Yes. To copy the same lot size, select the **Lot Multiplier** risk setting and set it to **100%**.

For example, a 1-lot trade on the Master will copy as a 1-lot trade on the Slave.
