TC Rooms FAQ & Troubleshooting

General Questions

Does Traders Connect act as a broker or financial adviser?

No. Traders Connect is strictly a software and connectivity provider. Traders Connect is not a broker, investment adviser, or asset manager, does not hold or manage funds, and does not execute orders. All orders are executed directly by your independent third-party broker.

How much does a Room cost?

A TC Room subscription costs $100 per month and includes 5 account seats. Room Managers can upgrade their account limits on the Billing page to allocate additional seats to their Room.

Are member accounts visible to other people in the Room?

No. All Member accounts are completely private and anonymous. A Member can only see their own connected account and logs.

Can a Room Manager place trades directly on a Member’s account?

No. Room Managers have no direct access to a Member's broker account or credentials. Trade replication happens automatically through the software based entirely on the settings and risk rules configured by the Member.

Billing & Seats

How do Room Managers charge Members?

Traders Connect does not collect, manage, or facilitate fees between Room Managers and Members. Any commercial agreements or access fees must be arranged and settled externally outside the platform.

How do Dedicated Environments work in Rooms?

If a Room Manager has a Dedicated Environment add-on, they can assign it to specific members. Member accounts placed in a Dedicated Environment execute trades using a private, dedicated IP address. Accounts not assigned to a Dedicated Environment execute using Traders Connect’s standard shared network IPs.

Technical & Troubleshooting

Why did a trade not copy to a Member account?

If a trade fails to replicate, both the Member and the Room Manager should check the Copier Logs tab. Common causes include:

  • Account Status: The Slave account is disconnected, invalid credentials, or broker server downtime.
  • Symbol Mapping: The symbol traded by the Master does not match the exact naming convention of the Member’s broker (check Symbol Mapping).
  • Margin / Balance: The Member’s account has insufficient free margin to place the calculated lot size.
  • Risk / Equity Rules: The Member’s equity-protection threshold or maximum lot-size limit was triggered.

What happens if the Master account fails to close a trade?

TC Rooms operates on standard Master/Slave architecture. If a close command is executed on the Master, a close signal is sent to all active Slaves. If the Master account itself encounters an execution error at its broker and fails to close, no signal will be dispatched to Slaves. Both Managers and Members must actively monitor their accounts and maintain hard Stop Loss / Take Profit orders.

How do I get support for a Room?

  • For Room Access & Strategy Questions: Members should contact their Room Manager directly.
  • For Platform & Technical Errors: Both Managers and Members can reach out to Traders Connect 24/7 Live Support via chat or email for assistance with connection errors and engine logs.
